I had a great time this afternoon playing with blog layouts and trying to decide which one looked the best. This is still a work in progress. For some reason I can't get photos to load, and I'd like to load a few.

I can read it, but it's sort of borderline. My eyes squinted a little and considered watering, but then decided not to. (Water, that is. :) ) I'd guess it'll be an issue for at least some people.
It's a neat color scheme for decoration -- lines and scrolls and trim and such, things people won't be focusing their eyes on for more than a moment -- but for text, just about any bright and glaring text color will usually cause problems for at least some readers, no matter what color background it's on, although black or something similarly dark is the worst.
My 2.5 cents' worth....
