Rub Me Down.... The cover fairy blessed me several times today. I also got the cover for my newly contracted story with Resplendence Publishing, an adult fairy tale titled "Wish Me Up, Rub Me Down."
The story is loosely based on the Aladdin and the Lamp tale. Here's a small blurb to wet your appetite, and the cover, which is awesome.
BBW Anya Bartholomew has everything, or so it seems. A successful advertising agent, at the age of 33 she’s risen in the ranks of her firm to be the top moneymaker.
She owns a beautiful brownstone in New York City, a car, and takes trips to Europe every summer. The one thing she doesn’t have is a boyfriend. No matter how hard she tries, she can’t seem to find the right man for her.
All that changes, though, when Anya and her friends take a trip to the small town of Pleasant, Maine. They think it will be a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of New York. But Anya finds something else.
While visiting a shop on the main street, Anya discovers a lamp that looks like it could belong to Aladdin. After much teasing from her friends, and the store owner, she rubs it, and nothing happens.

The next Monday, however, two gorgeous Djinn show up at her office, and tell her they’re there to fulfill her every desire. What a great way to start the work week.

That one sounds like fun -- and there's some nice looking real estate on the cover, too. :)

I was going to tell you it's "whet" your appetite (as in sharpen) but in your case....whippee.
Old copy editors never die....
Thanks Angie, I think this is going to be a very fun book!
And, Briddie, with my writing, you have to "wet" an appetite to truly enjoy it!
